Leeds wins a hard fought game

Leeds Corinthians played local rivals in a friendly, hard fought game.

Leeds kicked off and Morley ran ball back to Leeds and there was a strong run in from Morley.

Morley knocked on and the scrum was given to Leeds.

Leeds won the ball and Matty Reid (scrum half) gave ball to Michael Tuke who passed to Ben Harrison (Clink). He then ran through the Morley defence to score Leeds first try.

Try was converted by Ollie Logan.

Leeds Corinthians were then running ball in hard, showing how well they can play with the ball in their hands.

10 minutes in Morley break line and kicked it through, fortunately for Leeds the ball went over dead ball line as Morley winger was ready to dive on the ball.

Referee gave scrum to Leeds - both sides playing same style of rugby, both running ball in hard.

25 minutes into game - good run in by Andy Gibney, who put a few Morley players on the floor by running the ball in hard.

Leeds were getting put under pressure and gave 4 penalties away in 6 minutes.

Leeds then pulled themselves together and got back to how they can play with another try, the ball going through the hands to Josh Cassar who ran through Morley line and offloaded to Michael Tuke who then finished off under the sticks. Try was converted by Ollie Logan.

A good run in then by Leeds but unfortunately they knocked on.

Josh Cassar kicked ball through for Michael Tuke to pick up and hand on to Joe Hardy. This was Leeds 3rd try, converted by Matty Reid.

Leeds finished off the half, piling on the pressure with good driving from forwards. Moved into half time 21-0 to Leeds.

2nd half, Morley kicked off and Andy Gibney caught ball and runs ball in hard.

Morley gave penalty away which Leeds took full advantage, Josh Cassar powered his way through to score a try. Converted by Joe Hardy.

The game was very hard fought - there was a scuffle and Rob Dougan and a Morley player were sin-binned.

Morley ran in the ball in hard but Leeds Defense held on and withstood the pressure.

Great effort by Danny O'Connor whose break through the line ended up with a try, converted by Joe Hardy. Score was now 35-0 to Leeds.

Morley scored from scrum but missed conversion.

Leeds finished off game with a great try as Ben Harrison run through the Morley defense and scored the final try, converted by Joe Hardy. This took us to full time score of 42-5 to Leeds.
